ALOTA is an acronym for my instructional design model.  It provides an easy-to-remember method of remembering the elements of a lesson plan (the smallest instructional unit in my model.)

  • Attention
  • Learning Outcomes
  • Teaching
  • Assessment

Loosely based on Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction, I utilize this method to organize Lesson Plans in my courses and Chapters in my CourseBooks.

LOOP is an acronym to describe the approach I have to instructional design.  Learning Outcome Oriented Practice.
